  6. Armotraz Tablets (Generic Anastrozole Tablets) Uses of Armotraz 1 mg Tablets: Armotraz contains an ingredient called Anastrozole. This belongs to a group of medicines called 'aromatase inhibitors'. Armotraz is used to treat breast cancer in women who have gone through the menopause. This medicine is used to treat the following indications: Adjuvant treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor- positive early breast cancer. First-line treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor- positive or hormone receptor unknown locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Treatment of advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women with disease progression following Tamoxifen therapy. 7. Armotraz Tablets (Generic Anastrozole Tablets) Uses of Armotraz 1 mg Tablets: Many breast cancer tumors grow in response to estrogen. This medicine interferes with the production of estrogen in the body. As a result, the amount of estrogen that the tumor is exposed to is reduced, limiting the growth of the tumor. Patients with ER-negative disease and patients who did not respond to previous Tamoxifen therapy rarely responded to Armotraz tablets. Anastrozole tablets works by cutting down the amount of the hormone called estrogen that your body makes. It does this by blocking a natural substance (an enzyme) in your body called ‘aromatase’. 8. Armotraz Tablets (Generic Anastrozole Tablets) Uses of Armotraz 1 mg Tablets in Bodybuilding (Off-Label): Some bodybuilders take Anastrozole to reduce the side effects of anabolic steroids. The drug is a breast cancer treatment that lowers estrogen levels and should not be used for other means. Bodybuilders who take anabolic steroids to try to increase muscle mass and improve athletic performance can experience a range of symptoms. In some cases, males might start to grow breasts due to an increase in estrogen levels. Anastrozole lowers estrogen levels and can prevent breast growth in males. Anastrozole stops aromatase from working in the body. Aromatase is an enzyme that makes estrogen from steroid hormones, including testosterone. By doing this, it lowers the amount of estrogen in the body.
