  2. Dr. Paul Zarda is an Orlando based Mechanical Engineer who currently works at Lockheed Martin. His responsibilities in the company fall into different categories, including Program Manager of several contracts with WPAFB, Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff assigned to Research and Technology, and Manager of the Engineering Methods Group. He also holds expertise in finite element techniques applied to stress and dynamic analysis within Lockheed Martin.

  3. Dr. Paul Zarda has reviewed engineering processes at Lockheed Martin’s Missile and Fire Control Facility in the areas of preliminary and conceptual design of missile & fire control systems. This has led to a developed architecture of methodology in order to capture that knowledge. Both Interactive Gimbal Design (IGD) and Interactive Missile Design (IMD) are offered by Engineering Methods Group.

  4. Dr. Paul Zarda also holds expertise in finite element techniques applied to stress and dynamic analysis within Lockheed Martin. His excellent work has led to the development of various tools that increase an engineer’s productivity. He is solely responsible for the development of FEM/SINDA, an industry standard thermal analysis code which has significantly changed the way thermal analysis is performed. FEM/SINDA offers significant productivity gains to the engineering community.

  5. Dr. Paul Zarda has in depth knowledge of MCAE (Mechanical Computer Aided Engineering) and KBE (Knowledge Based Engineering). He also chaired a Mechanical Design bench-marking team both at local and corporate level. He has also served as the Program Manager on DARPA’s MADE and RaDEO programs. He was chosen among 25 contractors and 80 engineers as the Chairman of the Guidance Team. This team received recognition from the Director of DARPA for their contribution in KBE Technology.
