  • Einstein in Zurich: 1896 starts undergraduate studies of mathematics and physics at ETH, graduates in 1900. PhD from University of Zurich in 1905. Professor of physics at the Uni. of Zurich (1909-11). Faculty member at ETH (1912-14).
