To increase the performance as well as results of the employees, a manager would need to increase and improve their influence over the employees.

By having the ability to change the attitude, behaviors and beliefs of an employee, a leader can get the employee to aid in the success of an organization. Think of a leader as a mentor or a motivator, to guide and push an employee to perform in their skills.
