ACADEMICS OTHM Servo Hospitality School is an accredited educational delivery partner of OTHM, United Kingdom, which is a UK based awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and recognised by Qualifications Wales. OTHM supports tourism and hospitality industry by delivering qualified and experienced human resource for the industry. THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF OTHM ARE: • To uphold the integrity of the qualifications and assessments • To provide British Standards Qualification globally • To promote professionalism • To promote ethical practice • To promote equality and diversity UNIVERSITY PROGRESSIONS The OTHM Level 4, 5 and 6 diploma qualifications are equivalent to Year 1, 2 and 3 (Final year) respectively of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree. Each level consists of 120 credits. Completing any of the level 4, 5 and 6 qualifications will enable learners a progression to the next level of higher education at UK universities. 02

Level 3 Foundation Diploma By OTHM, United Kingdom INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT The program offers a straight school to career path for people interested in the hotel, restaurant or the food industry. This course is designed to provide students with extensive knowledge on the Hotel Industry, within the kitchen, front office, housekeeping, F&B production and F&B service operations, sales and marketing, French and Business communication. This twelve-month program integrates theoretical and practical knowledge in kitchen lab, front office, housekeeping, F&B production and service operation. On-job experience imparted during the course enriches and reinforces what students learn in the classroom and develops their practical skills, which is critically important for future success in the industry. Course Duration The duration of this course is 12 months of which 6 months are spent on theoretical training in the classroom followed by 6 months of industrial exposure. At the end of 12 months, placement of students in the domestic market is facilitated. Eligibility Criteria Candidate must have completed Grade 10 or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognized national or state board. 03

Level 4 Diploma Courses By OTHM, United Kingdom INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT This course offers theoretical learning, practical training and industrial skills required for students to be successful in the hotel management industry. It is affiliated to OTHM, United Kingdom. The program provides an industry-driven curriculum to teach and test students and awards them with industry-recognized diplomas. The program integrates theoretical and practical learning in the kitchen lab, front office, housekeeping, food & beverage production, service operation and culinary work. Additionally, students can choose their specialisation in a few months and tailor. The practical training to their specific aspirations. Eligibility Criteria Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognized national or state board. Course Duration The duration of this course is 12 months which involves 6 months of theoretical and practical training followed by 6 months of industrial exposure. INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA IN CULINARY ARTS At the Servo Hospitality School, we offer International Diploma in Culinary Arts which helps students learn contemporary and classic culinary techniques and cooking methods. This course is affiliated to OTHM, United Kingdom. The course integrates both theoretical and practical components and focuses on the functional areas of the culinary operations. It introduces the basic principles of sanitation and safety related to the hospitality industry including personal hygiene, sanitation and safety regulations, usage and care of the equipment and the principles of foodborne illnesses. Through the guidance of experienced professionals and practical training, the students imbibe extensive knowledge of cooking hacks and skills and application of different methods and techniques of cooking. Emphasis is also placed on technical and interpersonal skills, study skills, ethics, professionalism and time management as they are all essential perquisites to an international hospitality career. This course is designed for candidates who wish to acquire an expertise in the art of confectionary and patisserie and integrates both theoretical and practical training. This course covers various baking technicalities, hacks and skills, patisserie principles, chocolate handling techniques and sculpture making. The course also focusses on the functional areas of the hospitality operation including kitchen administration and food production, fundamentals of food and beverage services, food science and hygiene.   11. MCAST The Servo Hospitality School is associated with the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology– Europe’s leading government vocational education and training institution. MCAST offers 180 full-time and over 300 part-time vocational courses ranging from certificates to Master’s degrees (MQF Level 1 to Level 7). MCAST mission statement is to,“Provide universally accessible vocational and professional education and training with an international dimension, responsive to the needs of the individual and the economy”. The Servo Hospitality School provides a progression to the Level 5 Undergraduate Diploma in Hotel and Hospitality Management offered by MCAST, Malta. Level 5 Diploma Course By Malta College Of Arts, Science & Technology (MCAST), Malta, Europe UNDERGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN HOTEL AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT This Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management is designed for students that have high career aspirations in hospitality management. This course aims to go beyond the fundamentals of hotel management and expose the student to the financial and operational aspects of the hospitality industry. On the completion of the programme, students will have an overview of the broad contours of the business of hospitality including fundamentals of consumer behavior and marketing, finance, operations management, leadership and management principles, human resource management and contemporary issues in hospitality management. Course Duration This is a 24 months programme which involves 12 months of Level 4 Study at the Servo Hospitality School. The Level 4 qualification provided at the Servo Hospitality School will be by OTHM, UK. The training will encompass both theoretical and practical training in the classroom and industrial exposure. Thereafter, on completion of the Level 4 Diploma programme, the students will leave for Malta for a 1-year Level 5 Study at MCAST, Malta. On successful completion of the Level 5 study, students will be awarded an Undergraduate Diploma in Hotel and Hospitality Management. While at MCAST, Malta, students will also get the opportunity to undertake part-time work for 20 hours per week with an earning potential of upto INR 1.5 lakh. Post completion of the programme, opportunities exist to get a job search visa of 9 months with a possibility of full- time work permit and earning potential of upto INR 2 lakh per month.   13. Servo Finishing School Programme The Servo Finishing School Programme aims to cater to the graduates of hospitality management. It is a 6 months programme which holistically develops a student to meet the skills demand in the international hospitality arena. It involves 3 months of classroom training covering the essentials of hospitality training with a special emphasis on developing of soft skills such as leadership training, teamwork, confidence, dressing, grooming and interview training. The remaining 3 months are spent on practical training at our training partner Ramada, Dehradun. At the end of the finishing school programme, the students are assured of an international internship and placement with one of our international placement partners. 10

  17. Internships & Placements Internships At the Servo Hospitality School, assured international internships are part of the curriculum. The course fee is inclusive of an international internship for a duration of 12 months in a luxury hotel/resort. These internships prepare the students for a global hospitality career by imparting them with requisites such as cross-cultural skills, sensitivity and career networking. Caboose – The Culinary Studio Caboose - The Culinary Studio is a unique and a highly innovative endeavour started by the Servo Hospitality School which provides a creative space to a potential chef in the making to conjure International gastronomical delights. The goal and the aspiration is to become a professional chef across all age groups. The purpose of creating this facility is not only to provide an enjoyable environment for nurturing culinary aspirations for food enthusiasts but for culinary professionals that are hoping to further enrich & enhance their culinary skills. Thus, the Servo Culinary Studio will not only be a destination for making good food, but it will offer a unique setting for family and private celebrations. Participants can learn classical and modern culinary techniques, hottest trends and use the state of the art studio for an immersive experience to experiment and curate international cuisine. Operational Features • The Studio shall be open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. • A highly accomplished Chef will be waiting in the wings to offer support to a passionate learner. • An interested participant can register anytime during the currency of the programme, irrespective of the area of specialization. • Age is no bar- current students, ex -students, potential entrepreneurs, faculty members, housewives and other member of the public are encouraged to participate and enhance their culinary skills. • Participant can do multiple stints subject to prior booking and its availability.
