1. What is cloud storage? Basic Definition: Cloud storage is one type of online data saving. When we save our data in mobile, laptop, or desktop that is saved in our local disk and in web space data save online. Cloud storage doesn’t mean it save on the cloud but data save in a big data center and in that big data center you get some space in that data center. Use: We can upload download or access data through the web or software. We can get back up our data also. We can access that data from any android device or from any laptop-desktop at any location. On a data transfer platform we can write, read, listen and run files, we also can add, update and delete that file with the help of a file manager. In that place, an option of large file transfer is also available. You can share big files like movie files. You can set a password to your data, sharing options are also available that those who want to share data. Current Scenerio: In today’s market, there are many different cloud storage providers some are focus on data security, some are focus on speed access and some are focus on total user experience. Many file-sharing platforms are free and many others are paid In free data storage approx Starting from 2 GB to 50 GB. some free data storage and after that cap, they are asking for money.

  2. Data security: Data encryption is also a very important topic that we can’t forget. These companies also provide data encryption services, if any hacking activity happens so your data will be secure and no one can open, read and access your data. On your local hard disk, there are many chances to crash or corrupt data, but on cloud storage, there are fewer chances to crash or corrupt your data. To secure cloud storage data should our main focus. Data storage companies have back up of all data so if there is any problem generate they can solve it and manage data. You can prevent data corruption or crash. My View: I personally suggest don’t go for free always take a genuine and valuable data-sharing platform because your data is more valuable than your memories, you can choose to google drive, dropbox, or SMAC cloud for your photos videos, and other data details which is more valuable than your money so always take paid version. There is a trash option is also available. By mistake, if you delete any data then you can recover it easily like your computer’s recycle bin.
