A simple wash of the tiles helps to remove the dirt of the tiles if done on a regular basis. If needed people add a bit of detergent to increase its efficiency. • Mopping with wet cloth: This is generally done if we don't want to undergo the trouble of washing the entire house daily. A simple sweeping of the floor followed by mopping it with wet cloth is equally effective. • Prevention, better than cure: In many households, it is ensured that people do not come inside with their shoes and slippers inside their houses. • Using tile cleaners: undoubtedly, the best way to keep your tile clean is by using tile cleaner solutions. It is advisable that instead of going through the trouble rubbing off the stains on tiles, just go for a tile cleaner solution and use your time and effort somewhere else. You can save the water involved in washing the entire house for some other purposes. Similarly instead of preventing people from making your tiles dirty and thereby annoying them, it's better to keep your tiles clean by this solution. Just make sure that you buy a good tile cleaner to save yourself from the adverse effects of chemicals present in the tile cleaners. If you are a bit apprehensive about using these chemicals either due to the presence of children or pets in your houses which roam around the floor and might be affected by the chemicals, you can simply add a bit of vinegar to the water to get similar effect.
