The Koala Bears home is in the Australian woods except for the ones in other countries zoos. In the wild it can get very hot so most of them are getting killed by wild fires.

The koala bear babies l.jpg

A baby koala is called a Joey. When the Joey is born, it is only about 2 cm long, blind, furless, and its ears have not quite developed. It goes into its mothers pouch. Before it can eat leaves, it must eat “Pap”, which the mother provides. When it is to big for its mothers pouch, it leaves and is on its way.
