  1. The Addo Experience This is the position of Addo Elephant park in South Africa. The map comes from the Addo site at http://www.sanparks.org/parks/addo/

  2. About Addo Elephant park • Addo is about 72km from Port Elizabeth. It was started to rescue 11 elephants from extinction. The park is the third largest in South Africa. It is worth visiting. You can stay in the accommodation in the camp. • There are lots of elephants plus black rhino, ostrich, warthog, bushbuck, red hartebees and many kinds of birds. • You can go on hikes or horse rides in the bush to see game. • http://www.addopark.com/attractions/index.htm Addo Park Eastern Cape

  3. The main camp has a waterhole where people can see animals coming to drink.

  4. Tourists can eat lunch at the restaurant...

  5. or at the picnic area looking at the waterhole.

  6. Many waterholes like this one are dry so these red hartebees are thirsty.

  7. The elephants eat this spekboom or “fat tree”.

  8. The park also has lions.

  9. The park is very big. Here are Luzuko and Lithemba with a group of tourists.

  10. You can stay in these huts the whole day if you want to watch the game drinking.
