But majority of the moms are now using disposable diapers. These diapers are easily available in different sizes and are easy to use. Along with the convinience, they might put your baby into trouble if not used with precautions and care. Though these diapers are made up of soft cotton and are gentle to skin but prolonged use may develop rashes. So let’s understand what are diaper rashes and the remedies to cure them. What is a diaper rash? A skin irritation or a rash grows in warm, moist place. Diaper rash looks like red spots or scale on your baby’s bottom or genital areas. These rashes are irritating and cause discomfort and itching. Do not rub the skin too hard and avoid wipes with alcohol. #4. Change diaper regularly :Make sure you change your baby’s diaper every 4-5 hours. It is important to check if it is wet and change it.
