  18. EXTENSION:STATUS OF ATMA (MANIPUR STATE) State Agriculture Management and Extension Training (SAMETI) established in the State and started functioning.

Mass Media Support to Agricultural Extension: Provides information on latest agricultural technologies to the farming communities through All India Radio(AIR) and Doordarshan Kendra, Imphal. Programme for Exchange of Agriculture Technologies: Farmers and Extension functionaries have visited agriculturally advanced State.

  20. MARKETING Market Research and Market Information: Established a State wide information network through electronic connectivity to AGMARKNET portal for 5(five) markets of the state. Market prices for 27 commodities reported daily on the website for information to farmers and market functionaries.
