An Innovative App Designed By Richard Commins

Students provide their names and dash pins to the driver, allowing the driver to verify their accounts using the driver app. The driver then uses the image to verify that they paid the correct amount before the app processes the payment upon arrival at the destination. "It was wonderful to receive the assistance and support of all of the people in Cork," Mr. Richard Commins stated.

  2. Introduction Project Dash Project Dash (Driving All Students to Home) was designed through collaboration between NUI Galway students. Students can use taxis even without money, credit cards, or mobile. A significant number of students from universities, as well as taxi firms, have signed up to make use of the services since the program was implemented during the time that it was in Galway and Carlow. Richard Commins, a final-year student of business information systems at NUI Galway who led the project's creation, was at UCC today to participate in the launch of the initiative.
