Eric was born in Syracuse, NY in 1929

The first book that he illustrated was Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?

He has illustrated more than 70 books

His art work is created in collage technique.

The books are usually about nature and the world.

Eric has two grown-up children, a son and a daughter.

He has won many awards for his books.

He now lives in Northampton, MA.
