  1. Worlds Window Group: Dealers of ferrous metals

  2. Worlds Window Group is currently one of the top metal scrap importers across India. One of the major differences between ferrous and non-ferrous metals is that the former one contains iron while the latter does not. Both of them possess unique properties. The non-ferrous metals were used ever since the dawn of civilization. When the copper was unearthed during 5000 B.C., it finally brought an end to the Stone Age and rise of the Copper Age. The Bronze Age began with the discovery of bronze along with alloy of copper as well as tin. The ferrous metals, which commenced during 1200 B.C., heralded the production of iron and hence Iron Age. World's Window India is one of the preferred Infrastructure Logistics Company by the people of India. They guarantee top-notch customer services by supplying superior quality ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Types of Ferrous Metals Cast Iron, Wrought Iron, Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel are some of the common types of Ferrous Metals. These metals are treasured for their remarkable tensile strength and longevity. Out of which carbon steel is one of the preferred ferrous metals in the field of construction industries. Carbone steel, which is often referred to as the 'Structured Steel' is used in several applications such as, bridges, massive skyscrapers, automobile industries and development of railroad tracks as well. In addition, they are used for several commercial and domestic purposes too.

  3. One of the major setbacks with respect to ferrous metals is that due to a very high volume of carbon content, it is susceptible to rust when it is expose to sunlight. However, wrought iron blocks rust owing to its extreme purity. The presence of chromium in stainless steel prevents development of rust. Majority of the ferrous metals are magnetic thereby making it suitable for electronics and motor applications. Stainless Steel A stainless steel is created by mixing iron with carbon thereby hardening it. The presence of chromium and nickel makes an alloy steel more rigid. A steel is developed by thoroughly heating and melting an iron ore in a furnace. Tap the steel directly from the furnace and later it is transferred to mold to develop a steel bar. They are extensively used in both manufacturing and construction industries. Carbon Steel Carbon Steel is extremely rigid owing to a greater volume of carbon content. The distinctive properties of Carbon Steel make it one of the preferred ferrous metals to manufacture drills, taps and springs. Alloy Steel To ensure a greater tensile strength and longevity, a combination of titanium, nickel and chromium is used to create alloy steel. World's Window India imports only top quality ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
