  1. Is your marketing strategies taking away your potential customers Choosing a right marketing strategy is really important for all the marketer’s because if you take a wrong step then that could take away your future customer’s. Imagine I sent you this message on LinkedIn: “Hi, my name is Shalabh Saxena. I provide Social Media marketing and Digital Marketing services to all sort of business around the world and I’m specialized in management and branding. When you plan a new startup or event then I am the person you need. Would tomorrow be a good day to call you about this? How about 10:00 am IST tomorrow?” This sound ridiculous because in my opinion, this is by far the worst way to offer a product or a service to someone. I keep getting such messages every day. I always report them as spam, and mostly delete them; I think most of the people face such situations. How I pick vendors: I recently hired a logo designer because I saw her work on a freelancing site, and I liked it. She did not send me a message saying, “Hi, I am logo designer. I am specialized in making great vector logos. Maybe you need my services. Can I call you tomorrow at 10:00 am?” I also bought some new shirts from my dream store because I once found their website with Google. I loved their designs, and I’ve been a fan ever since. Anyone who sends me a LinkedIn message offering me T-shirts, saying, “We are specialized in T-shirts,” doesn’t understand how I prefer to pick great vendors.
