  1. David Alan Caterers 12-16 Littell Rd #5C, East Hanover, NJ 07936, United States +1 973-884-4040 Caterer A New Kind of Catering Company Think of a catering company and probably images of some fancy party, reception, or banquet pops into mind. Well, this kind of catering exist but a new breed of caterers are starting to emerge. Old-school catering companies are facing more competition as new ones are branching out offering more choices and better pricing and trying to meet customers wishes whether the budget is big or small. Most any catering company now offers meals such as breakfast, snacks, and sandwiches delivered to your desk while at work. Before only the low-end fast food chains competed for this low margin business. Sure, the extravaganzas still exist and they're a lot of fun, but catering companies have taken on an entirely new approach to enter a crowded marketplace. Some have even created an entirely new market stamping their presence right next to their competitors. What does this mean for you? Better value. Now that you have a lot more catering businesses to choose from, you'll find that they will work with you more on your terms, not theirs. Keep in mind though, researching to find the few good ones will take a little extra time, but you'll be rewarded with higher quality and lower pricing. First try the Internet. Then go to offline methods. Local magazines usually have catering service ads, but understand these are usually the more expensive ones. After you have a list of catering companies, look for recommendations and testimonials and food you may want to eat. Even better, make up a meal you would want to eat. Now, email all these catering services with one email asking them to respond with a quote. You will be amazed at what comes back. Pricing will vary dramatically and at least one catering company will have ignored your menu request responding with just an arbitrage of possibilities that just confuses you; or at least raises more question than answering the ones you sent off to them. And still others will try to pry more information out of you before they are willing to work with you. Stay on track. Don't let a catering company suck you into their system. Ask your questions and work with the ones who respond with real information that will help you get closer to final goal of hiring the best catering company.

  2. You'll know when everything comes together and which catering company will make your party perfect. The price will be right. They will have not only responded to your original request but will have also followed up with a personal phone call. They will have made up a catering menu that shows they listened to what you wanted. You get the picture, I think. Now, with all this information in hand, it's time to go out their and search for the best catering company for your event.
