As a class we voted on the topic. We decided to focus on sports. We brainstormed the questions that we could ask within our school.

We went to the classroom and tallied up the votes. The sports with the most votes were basketball and gymnastics/dance.

  • We went to the computer lab and made a graph on Microsoft excel.

  • We were sure to put a title for our graph because we learned it was a component of a good graph.

After looking at our data, we found…

Gymnastics/Dance and basketball had the most votes and ice-skating and football had the least votes.

We were surprised when we saw the results. Our question was what is your favorite sport to play?
