Native Americans:

Overview: Students will learn about the Native Americans and the history behind the first people of the Americas. These students will be introduced to a few tribes in the Social Studies textbook, United States In Time and Place but will expand to the other tribes throughout the United States with the use of maps and research. Students will then get a chance to choose a tribe to call their own and identify their values, lifestyles and cultures. They will use the internet as a resea9448
