  2. Installed Solar Capacity (MW) by Year Data: Installed Solar PV megawatts (MW) at Customer-Sites by year in California’s Investor-Owned Utility Territories (PG&E, SCE, SDG&E). Does not include projects in publicly owned utility territories. Does not include wholesale PV projects or any projects used to directly serve utility load, such as Renewable Portfolio Standard projects. Source: California Public Utilities Commission, April 2010.

  4. 2010 Install Data • Data on previous 2 slides only thru 2009, but includes all IOU-territory solar interconnections including from the following rebate programs: • California Solar Initiative (including general market program, SASH, & MASH) • New Solar Homes Partnership • Self Generation Incentive Program • Emerging Renewables Program • But not any publicly owned utility programs • Data for installs and number of projects for 2010 • is refreshed weekly • available for California Solar Initiative only • Available at www.CaliforniaSolarStatistics.ca.gov • Monthly Installs available at: http://www.californiasolarstatistics.ca.gov/reports/4-14-2010/ApplicationStatsByMonth.html • Be sure to Refresh the Date to get current week’s data • As of April 14, 2010 Data set, First Quarter 2010 Installs under CSI general market program were: • 36 MW Installed • 4,191 Projects • There were additional installations under CSI MASH, CSI SASH, and the New Solar Homes Program that are not accounted for yet. • The California Energy Commission collects data on publicly owned utility (POU) solar programs (that are not regulated by the CPUC), see: • http://www.energy.ca.gov/sb1/pou_reports/index.html
