  1. Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered Repeatedly Practical and easy ways to fix it!

  2. Most users face with this headache problem while using their Windows laptop or desktop. Now I will list the fixes I know. I can’t promise them working 100% positively but all are simple, safe and free to operate, so just have a try! • If you have better fixes, share it with us!

  3. 1: Cool Your PC Make sure your computer is not overheating • When you are playing games or running large graphics processing application, PC is prone to be overheating. Touch the back board and check if it is tool hot! • So Keep your computer cool by a • cooler.

  4. 2: Lower Operating Frequency • This is a kind of protection mechanism. Playing games or processing graphics applications needs higher frequency. If your hardware can't bear this frequency, it will stop the driver to stop your work so that to protect your computer. • T o fix this, you can lower the operating frequency from the display card settings in Control Panel. (Right click on your desktop and find your graphics card properties or settings or something like this).

  6. 4: Change Registry Key • Go to registry editor (start -> run -> regedit) • Navigate yourself to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControlGraphicsDrivers (make sure GraphicsDrivers is highlighted). • Right click -> New -> Dword (32-bit) value -> Name it: TdrDelay -> double click it -> Set it to A (hexadecimal) or 10 (decimal).   If you are using 64bit system, just choose the Dword (64-bit) 

  7. 5. Change Graphics Settings • Nvidia(Or other graphics card) Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Set PhysX configuration -> Select a Physx processor -> choose your graphics card instead of leaving it on auto-select.
