  1. How does Office design affect worker's productivity? officesfurnituresdotcom.blogspot.com/2022/07/how-does-office-design-affect-workers.html People may work more efficiently and cooperatively in a workplace that has been thoughtfully designed, which also benefits their health and wellness. Given that we spend over 90% of our time inside, a well-designed office may promote a less stressful and more productive environment. To perform their best work, employees need to feel relaxed and at ease in their physical working environment. How can an office design improve productivity? Ergonomics: Poor desk arrangements can make it difficult for workers to spend time at their workstations and, in certain situations, can even cause absences. Employers should think about providing ergonomic office furniture, such as adjustable seats, screen supports, rests for keyboards, mice, and feet, which all allow employees to choose the right height for them to sit with proper posture and remain focused for extended periods of time. This will help to minimize any health risks and improve productivity. Wellness and good health: The International WELL Building Institute (IWBITM) asserts that workplace design that considers the quality of the air, lighting, views of nature, and general interior layout may significantly affect worker productivity, contentment, and health and wellbeing. 1/2

  2. According to the Fellows Workplace Wellness Trend Report, a whopping 87% of workers want their existing employers to provide better workplace benefits, such as wellness rooms, workplace exercise programs, sit-stand desks, healthy lunch alternatives, and ergonomic seating. Workspace type: Employees' individual workspaces, which are often desks, give people a place to work but also need to make them feel connected to encourage communication and teamwork. Because more workers are considering the circumstances that are ideal for doing their best job. To suit the methods in which individuals currently choose to work, office space needs to consider several various space types. Additionally, these areas must have the required equipment, a welcoming organizational culture, and flexibility to be utilized for a variety of occasions, including lunch breaks, casual catchups, and hosting remote employees who come to the office. Employees' personal workspaces, which are often desks, need to be multifunctional to enable communication and teamwork as well as to give people a place to work. Colour Usage: The design and colors used for a workspace must not only engage employees, but also encourage greater creativity throughout the workday because colour has a direct impact on your mood. Choosing vibrant colours like yellow and orange may have a genuine positive impact, but these strong colors must be tempered with neutrals throughout the room to prevent overwhelming. 2/2
