  • There are 3 important texts of the Buddhism namely SuttaPitaka, VinayaPitaka and

AbhidhammaPitaka.

According to the teachings of the Buddha, purpose of life should be to get oneself free from the suffering.

  • The Full moon day is considered as the sacred day in Buddhism Religion.
  • Buddha Purnima, marks as the day of birth and death of Buddha.
  • Buddha Purnima, is also marked by the enlightenment day of the Buddha.
