Divorce by Mutual Consent in India- Step by Step Procedure • REQUEST Once you send in a request, our representative will get in touch with you to understand your requirements. • LAWYER ASSIGNMENT As per your requirements, we will connect you to an expert lawyer. • DOCUMENTS AND QUESTIONNAIRE A checklist of documents and a questionnaire will be provided to record your details. • DOCUMENT VERIFICATION You will be required to send clear scanned copies of documents pertaining to the marriage for verification by a lawyer. • DRAFTING LEGAL NOTICE Within 3 to 4 working days the lawyer will prepare the draft and share it for your review and approval. • PETITION DRAFTING The petition will be drafted and shared with you for review and approval within 7 days of receiving the documents. • LEGAL NOTICE DISPATCHED Once you approve the draft, the lawyer will send the legal notice on his letterhead. • SIGNED DRAFT You are required to print the draft on legal size paper, sign and send it to us via courier/ post.

  12. Income tax statements of both partners for the last 3 years.

  13. Proof of date of birth (photocopy of any of the following documents will suffice: passport, voter id card, Aadhar card, driving license, class 10 passing certificate)
