The system is named after Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, who was instrumental in drafting the Indian constitution and fought tirelessly for the rights of the oppressed. Bhim UPI stands for Unified Payments Interface and is a digital payment system that allows users to transfer money instantly between bank accounts using a mobile phone. It is a secure, easy-to-use, and reliable payment system that has become very popular in India. How does Bhim UPI work? Bhim UPI works by linking a user's bank account to their mobile phone number. Once this is done, users can use their mobile phones to make payments, check their account balance, and transfer money to other users who are also registered on the UPI platform.
