  3. 1983 – Brigham Young University: Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. 1987 – University of Iowa College of Dentistry:  Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). 1988– Long Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center: Post-Doctorate one-year Residency Program – Hospital Dentistry. 2009: University of Southern California College of Dentistry: Post-doctorate Sedation Program-IV Sedation training. 2009: Level II Anesthesia Permit approved by the Kansas Dental Board to administer intravenous and oral conscious sedation medication to his patients. 2009: Scottsdale Center For Dentistry: Completed the Dr. Gordon Christensen two-year Mentorship. Disciplines covered were: Oral surgery, periodontal surgery, dental implantology, cosmetic and esthetic dentistry, pharmacology, dental materials and technology, full-mouth rehabilitation techniques, occlusion, TMJ treatment, oral pathology, myofacial pain control and new technology and techniques in restorative and cosmetic bonding. Dr. Bridenstine is one of 300 dentistS world wide, selected to be a product evaluator for the Clinicians Report Foundation; a not-for-profit dental scientific research group that tests the newest dental materials, techniques and equipment for publication in the Clinicians Report Monthly Newsletter. Dr. Bridenstine is a member of the American Dental Association, The Kansas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Academy of LDS Dentists and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. They will never lecture you, or make you feel back about your oral health. We’ll never lecture you, or your family members.In addition to no lecturing, we’ve made sure that all of your dental appointments are done with the utmost in comfort; all of our dental chairs are soft and plush. We’ll be happy to give you blankets to keep you warm if you’d like and our hygienists will even hold your hand if you’d like! We also have a full music library that you can choose from, or if you’d like, you can also pass the time watching TV. We’ll even provide you with complimentary headphones!

  7. Sedation Dentistry Are you afraid of going to the dentist? Do you suffer from “dental fear” or anxiety when thinking about going to the dentist? Fear no more – sedation dentistry just might be the answer you’ve been looking for. It will remove the layers of fear and/or anxiousness that you might be feeling when thinking about having your next dental procedure completed. Sedation dentistry will make you very relaxed, and very comfortable.  You’ll also experience what is known as “time compression”. This means that an appointment that might run two hours will only feel like an hour has passed. You will be awake the whole time of your procedure and able to communicate with the doctor and staff. When you get home, it’s quite possible that you’ll have experienced some amnesia as well. You’ll probably remember going to the dentist, and the procedure, and going home, but some of the details might be fuzzy.
