  3. Mansa Musa: The Beginning(Write what’s in Green.) • Ruled for 25 years. • One of Mali’s most famous rulers. • His army captured trade cities Timbuktu, Gao, and Djenne. • Under his rule, Islam spread through large parts of West Africa.
