  1. Estimating multiplication problems Please read the instructions first!!

  2. How to play This game is best for two or even better two pairs of players: Teams A and B: Take turns to estimate the multiplication problems and click on the correct estimate. You need to make a close guess, and do not have to work out the exact answer. You must explain to the other team why you think you are correct and how you worked it out.

  3. 23 x 23 Explain how you worked it out! More than 500 Between 400 and 500 More than 600 Team A! Look at the multiplication problem and the three estimates. Click the one you think is nearest.

  4. You guessed well !!!! 23 x 23 = 529 Now it is time for the Team B to have a go. Please click on the foot for the next problem….
