3rd person singular

  • The third person singular is formed by adding an s to the base verb.

  • To work He works


In verbs ending in ss x ch sh o l.jpg

  • “Es” is added in the third person singular.

  • To dress She dresses

  • To fix He fixes

  • To watch She watches T.V.

  • To wash She washes

  • To go It goes !

  • The y changes to “ies”

  • To cry He cries.
