Giant Team Australia is an acclaimed Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school. Marco 'Gigante' Villela is the managing director of this institution. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is inspired from Japanese Jujitsu also known as jiu-do which epitomizes the idea of David overcoming Goliath by utilizing leverage and technique. Jiu-Jitsu was originally invented in India around 2000 BC. It was utilized by monks who believed in non-violence and did not use weapons to protect themselves from antisocial elements. The monks took this concept to China from where it spread to Japan where it evolved as the first martial art.
