JAMU Jamu are Indonesia’s centuries-old herbal medicinal system with various plants along with knowledge introduced by Chinese , Arabic and earlier India traders and literally hundreds recipe been handed down generation to generation over centuries. Jamu created from local herbs, flowers , fruits , barks and roots, Jamu is a drunk as a medicinal tonic or applied through face and body mask , body wraps , massage oil and balms. Jamu is considered by Indonesians to be the best way to increase blood circulation and metabolism , regulate digestion and increase longevity.

  2. JAMUdrink • Recipes jamu drinks we can provide in spa operation : • Ginger tea – ( energy tonics ) We can serve this tea before spa treatment . Main Ingredient in this recipe is Ginger well known as soothing for stomach , to stimulate and reduce toxic from the body. Ingredients : Ginger juice 2 tablespoon Honey 2 teaspoon Lemon juice 1 tablespoon Boiling water 100 ml Directions : Prepare a cup of tea and mixed ginger juice , honey and lemon juice stirring and pour boiling water . Serve while still hot .

  3. JAMU drink • Daun Kemangi & Daun Sirih tea – ( cleansing tonics ) We can serve this tea after spa treatment and suite with detoxifying treatments. Daun Kemangi ( basil ) and Daun sirih ( pepper beetle leaf ) as known antibacterial , a blood purifier and particularly for the gastro intestinal track. Ginger stimulates circulation and orange provides antioxidant Vitamin C Ingredients : 4 fresh daun kemangi (basil leaves), Chopped 2 large sprigs daun sirih (pepper beetle leaf ) 12 mm pieces fresh ginger, slices 1 teaspoon honey 250 ml Boiling water Juice of 1 large orange Directions : In a cup, combine the herbs and ginger . Add the boiling water. Let steep for 10 minutes , then strain. Stir in the hone , then the orange juice . Serve warm.
