  5. One Month On: September 2010

  6. In just a month, Save the Children has reached over 305,000 people through emergency medical care and the distribution of tents, shelter kits, hygiene kits, food and other supplies. But there are millions more who need help, now and in the weeks to come.

  7. What We’re Doing Now: Food 1,098 tonnes of food have been distributed to 15,908 families in the most affected regions.

  8. What We’re Doing Now: Shelter • We’re one of the only aid agencies able to reach some of the remotest areas of Pakistan • Hundreds of tents, hygiene kits, water purification sachets, blankets and water buckets have been distributed to families around the country.

  9. What We’re Doing Now: Health • We’re using helicopters, donkeys and boats to deliver doctors and medical supplies to families cut off by the water. • We’ve treated thousands of patients already as well as distributing hygiene kits, shelter kits with tarpaulins, jerry cans and plastic glasses to flood-affected families.
