Charlotte’s Diaries are more than just a series of sexual sensations; the continuous thread of the story of her life brings together the lesbian books a moving picture of the people and places surrounding her. Through her lesbian fantasy diaries she is seen not only as a very precocious and highly sensuous developing young woman, but it is obvious that she also sensitive to the feelings and dreams of others.
