  1. What I have Learned in my Webomaze Journey Kevel Kumar

  2. List of topics I have Learned :- • Search Engine • Working of Search Engine • Google Algorithms • SEO • Types of SEO

  3. Search Engine :- • A search engine is a software program that helps people find the information they are looking for online using keywords or phrases. • Search engines are able to return results quickly—even with millions of websites online—by scanning the Internet continuously and indexing every page they find. • Eg. - Google, Yahoo, Being Baidu, and DuckDuckGo etc.

  4. Working of Search Engine :- Crawling: Crawling is the process by which search engines discover and collect information about web pages. Search engines use automated programs called crawlers or spiders to traverse the vast expanse of the internet and visit web pages. Indexing:Indexing is the process of storing and organizing the information collected during the crawling phase. The indexed data forms a massive database, known as the search engine index. Ranking: Ranking is the process of determining the order in which pages appear in the search engine results page (SERP) for a given query. Search engines employ complex algorithms to evaluate and rank pages based on relevance and authority.

  5. Google Algorithms :- • The Google Search algorithm is a complex system Google uses to decide how pages will rank in the search results. • The algorithm is believed to consider hundreds of factors but Content relevance, quality, and the user experience (UX) are among the most important ones (more on each of these below).

  6. SEO(Search Engine Optimization) :- • SEO is a process or practice to increase the quality and quantity traffic on website through organic search engine results. • Search engine optimization is the backbone of any digital marketing strategy.

  7. Types of SEO:- • On Page SEO • Off Page SEO • Technical SEO • International SEO • Local SEO • E-commerce SEO • Content SEO • Mobile SEO • White-Hat SEO • Black-Hat SEO • Gray-Hat SEO • Negative SEO

  8. On-Page SEO:- On-page SEO refers to the optimization strategies and techniques implemented directly on a website's pages to improve its search engine rankings and enhance user experience.

  9. Off-Page SEO:- Off-Page SEO involves actions taken outside of a website to improve its visibility and authority in search engine results, often through link-building and social signals.

  10. Technical SEO:- Technical SEO focuses on optimizing the technical aspects of a website to make it more search engine-friendly and improve its crawlability, indexation, and overall performance.

  11. International SEO:- International SEO is the process of optimizing a website or blog so that search engines identify which countries you want to reach or which languages you should use in your business.

  12. Local SEO:- Local SEO is a search engine optimization (SEO) strategy that helps your business be more visible in local search results on Google. Any business that has a physical location or serves a geographic area can benefit from local SEO.

  13. E-commerce SEO:- Ecommerce SEO is the process of making your online store more visible in the search engine results pages (SERPs). When people search for products that you sell, you want to rank as highly as possible so you get more traffic. You can get traffic from paid search, but SEO costs much less.

  14. Content SEO:- Content SEO refers to creating content that helps your web pages to rank high in the search engines. It includes everything, from writing to structuring the content on your website.

  15. Mobile SEO:- Mobile SEO requires a website to follow a responsive Web design. This means that regardless of the device (desktop or mobile), the website must serve the same URLs and HTML. However, the images must be rendered to fit the screen size of the end device.

  16. White-Hat SEO:- White hat SEO is a term that describes internet marketing practices that are approved by search engines. The goal of an SEO, or search engine optimization, strategy is to get a website to appear higher within a search engine's results.

  17. Black-Hat SEO:- Black hat SEO is the practice of going against search engine guidelines to manipulate SERPs (search engine results page) for higher rankings. Marketers found to be using black hat SEO methods can be issued Google penalties, be wiped from search engines or see metrics completely drop.

  18. Gray-Hat SEO:- Grey-hat SEO is the practice of using techniques that are not strictly against Google's guidelines but perhaps a little outside what would be considered best practice. For example, getting a backlink from an authority site is something that Google encourages.

  19. Negative SEO :- Negative SEO is a set of activities aimed at decreasing a competitor's site rankings in search engines' results. These activities may include knowingly building spammy, unnatural links to the site, content scraping, and even hacking the site.
