1) AUTHORITY:Who is the author?
  • Is there any information about the author?
  • Does the author provide an e-mail address?
  • Is there an “About Us” or “Home” link?
  • Does the author list his/her credentials?
2 accuracy is the information accurate
2) ACCURACY:Is the information accurate?
  • Can it be verified by using another source?
  • Is it relevant to your topic?
  • Does the author indicate where she/he found the information?
  • Are there spelling or grammar mistakes?
3 currency is the information current

  • Can you tell when the website was created?
  • Can you tell when the website was last updated?
  • Are there broken links?
  • Does your topic require up-to-date information?
4 objectivity is the information biased
