  1. How Can I Reset Kaspersky 30-Day Trial? There are many software companies which offer a trial period before installing or purchasing them. This is a great and beneficial method to decide, whether to install the software or not. Same way, Kaspersky provides a 30-day trial to home users. You can extend your trial period to decide, whether it is a right choice for you or not. To extend the trial period, follow the given steps shared by Kaspersky Customer support Canada: Step 1. Firstly, disconnect your internet connection if connected to the computer. Now, open Kaspersky security program available on the desktop. Step 2. Now, scroll down the screen and locate License link at the bottom. Click on License link and then remove the expired license. Step 3. Select Close button and then go to Settings in the upper-right corner of the screen. Click on Self Defense option located in the left column and then uncheck the option of Enable Self-Defense on the right. Step 4. Thereafter, click on Advance Settings tab to check the Self-Defense options. Now, click on Apply button and then OK to continue the process. Step 5. Next, exit the Kaspersky window by right-click on the system tray at the bottom and select Exit. Step 6. Navigate to Start button and then type Run in the vacant box. Type “regedit” in the run dialog box and hit Enter or click Open. Step 7. Follow the given path if the last 2 numbers in your computer name are 86. "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP11\environment.” Follow this path if the last 2 numbers in your computer name are 64. "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP11\environment."

  2. Step 8. Make double-click on PCID on the right-hand side under Name section. A small window will open, in the Value Data field, replace the last four characters before the curly bracket with any new mixture of all caps alphanumeric characters. Click OK when done. Step 9. Now, exit the Registry Editor window and connect again to the internet. Step 10. Open Kaspersky program and click on the Activate trial version option. After that hit Next button and wait for few minutes to complete the activation process. Select the Finish button. Step 11. Finally, double-click the Kaspersky icon in the system tray to open the main dashboard of the application. You will notice that 30 days are remaining on your license.
