  1. Shred FX Focus on improving bicep curls. Usually, you fail to move the bar or dumbbell past a parallel point, which means you don't get the full benefit of the top half of the bicep curl. This upper portion is the most powerful and effective part of bicep curls. You can fix this by doing seated barbell curls. Shred FX Carefully choose which moves you concentrate on since some are risky with excess weight. For instance, split squats, dips and neck work will damage your joints if you add too much weight.
