  7. Strategize Efficiently • Determine your audience and goals! • Select a social technology e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc). That best meets those goals • USE PHOTOS!!!! Remember, every organization has different social media needs!

Strategize Continued… • Email Addresses • Every NAACP unit should have a general unit email address. • Should be visible on website. • Do not want to miss opportunity to interact with your constituents • Necessary to create social media accounts • Necessary to receive notifications of activity on social media • Email Services: Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail

Facebook • Facebook allows you to directly engage your • constituents with a variety of different media, such as videos, polls and status updates. • Disseminate information ( What is the NAACP doing?) • Get feedback (e.g., comments, likes, quizzes, etc.) • Launch causes and donation drives • Financial Freedom Center Facebook Page
