  • To give a brief overview of where the Children Centre programme is now nationally

  • To examine the present challenges of implementing the programme in Lambeth

  • To highlight the messages for Phase 3

  • National Target of 2500 Children’s Centres by March’08

    • Towards “progressive universalism" reaching all children
