  1. Some Simple Steps to Improving Security If you are concerned that your property is not protected enough, there are a few different things you can do, such as installing security fencing, to improve security and give yourself some peace of mind. Some of these measures are considerably more budget- friendly than others but, all of them will increase the security of your property in their own way. Let's take a closer look. The first thing to keep in mind is that a criminal's top priority is not getting caught. For that reason, anything you can do to slow them down or increase the chances of them being seen by someone are good steps to improving your security. Security fencing Perth is a sure fire way to slow a criminal down! Chainmesh fencing creates a barrier that helps keep criminals out of your property or, at least slows them down. It will take a bad guy at least a few minutes to jump your fence or cut through it with any kind of tool. Plus, link mesh fencing will also make an audible rattle if someone tries to climb it. For an even more impenetrable boundary, you might prefer to install garrison fencing or palisade fencing instead of weldmesh fencing. Due to the way garrison fencing is constructed, it is nearly impossible to climb in the first place and there is nothing short of a chainsaw that can cut through this security fencing very quickly. And, I guarantee that you will hear a chainsaw long before a criminal manages to cut through your palisade fencing - that gives you plenty of time to call the police. Now, there are some other things you can do in addition to purchasing security fencing Western Australia to improve your security even more. For starters, make sure the gates for your garrison fencing can lock securely. Some of these gates can be equipped with card locks or security passwords. If you can't afford something like that, even a simple chain and padlock can help some. Gates are available for chainmesh fencing also and you can opt for barbed wire coils along the top as well. And, last but not least, lighting is a fantastic deterrent for criminals! Lighting ensures that bad guys can be easily seen and identified by witnesses – that alone will keep many criminals from attempting to break into your property! To this end, I suggest you install flood lights at the gates and at regular intervals along your security fencing. You want lights that are bright enough to show a lot of the area surrounding on both sides of your security fencing Perth. It is a good idea to install bright lighting on the building as well, just in case a criminal manages to make it past your security fencing Western Australia. I do not recommend motion-sensing lights though because these will turn on with any detected motion including critters that might be near by and that can be really disruptive to your sleep!
