In 1954, scientists at RAND Corp. built this model of what a home computer might look like in the year 2004!

    • a communication service that allows a chat session to be set up so individuals can “talk” in real time over the internet.

  • Webinars: Web based seminars

    • A presentation or seminar that is online. These sessions are interactive, allowing all in attendance to input text and/or audio.

  • Wikis:

    • A collaborative web site that allows anyone to edit, delete, or modify content.

  • www.webopedia.com --online dictionary of tech terms

  • www.howstuffworks.com – great explanations in easy to understand terms
