Where to Find Information

  • CINAHL, the primary database for scholarly research articles in the nursing and allied health literature, is a collection of over 2, 850 journals and contains more than 1,000,000 records dating back to 1982. In addition to nursing, it also contains scientific, medical, and technical journals, book chapters, and dissertations.

  • Our CINAHL pamphlet provides an in depth look at features and options. To maximize your success, do the following:

  • Sign In to My EBSCO host. You can save your searches and use other features. Create your own username and password.

  • The Advanced Search provides many options to refine your search: subject headings, text words, author, etc.

  • Peer Reviewed is a check-box option that limits your search results to Peer Reviewed (refereed) articles. There are many limits and subsets options to use.

  • Use theicon to access online full text journals available from the library.

  • Search results can be printed, emailed, or downloaded.
