  1. Amcrest security systems are part of a generation of advanced high quality remote monitoring and video security systems which are bridging the gap between powerful capabilities, ease of use and affordability. Amcrest security camera systems are designed to record and deliver live video and audio to you anywhere in the world. With their high quality and robust design, Amcrest security cameras allow you to securely monitor your home, small business or medium to large enterprise.

  2. AMCREST propose a variety of IP Camera Network cameras also referred to as internet protocol are security cameras that are used for home surveillance. These cameras are digital, in the sense that they transmit data over the internet or local network cameras make it possible to remotely monitor a security system from your laptop or any internet connected device. Each type of a network camera is suited for specific needs

  3. Centralized and Decentralized IP Cameras Centralized network cameras are a series of security cameras linked by a network. All the network cameras in the whole security system are connected by a central video recorder that records the footage from all the linked cameras. The central video recorder ensures that the video footage recorded remains safe even if the security cameras are damaged, tampered with or stolen. But in the case where the recorder is tampered with you lose all the footage stored.

  4. Decentralized network cameras are stand alone recording cameras. Each of the security camera records the video footage in a local storage device, such as a hard drive or a USB drive. Decentralized storage ensures that the chance of losing recorded footage at once is very low.

  5. Wireless and Wired IP Cameras Wired network cameras are linked to a local computer network or the Internet via an Ethernet connection. This ensures that the camera uses the maximal network bandwidth thus a stable and steady connection. Wireless network cameras are connected to the network by Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Due to the fact that they are wireless, these network cameras can be used to offer surveillance to a wider area than wired network cameras. Wireless cameras are also easier to install, but the connection is not as reliable as that of wired cameras.

  6. PTZ and Fixed network Cameras Fixed network cameras are security cameras that are placed in fixed positions, thus they have fixed viewing angles and directions. Fixed IP cameras are used mainly to survey the same are of a property without tilting. Although these cameras are fixed, they can be equipped with different lenses to enhance their functions. PTZ network security cameras can tilt, zoom and pan using either a manual or automatic control.

  7. These enables them to cover a wider area as they can work under different angles and directions. They are ideal for tracking objects that are moving or for investigative purposes as they can zoom.

  8. Dome network Cameras Besides the usual box form of fixed and PTZ network cameras, they also come in a dome form. A dome network camera has properties that are very similar to those of a boxy IP camera. For example, a fixed dome camera points only in one direction and views at specific angles just like a regular fixed IP camera. Nevertheless, dome IP cameras offer certain benefits over the regular network cameras. For example, a dome PTZ network camera can swivel 360 degrees.
