  2. AboutUs • Optimed Research has been a leader in clinical research in Columbus for over 14 years. We pride ourselves in conducting meaningful research while keeping our patient as our top priority. • Dr. Donald McNeil, a Board Certified Specialist in Allergy, Asthma, Immunology and Internal Medicine, founded Optimed Research LLC in 1999. Dr. McNeil’s private practice is located at Midwest Allergy and Asthma Associates. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University and has various teaching responsibilities at Doctor’s Hospital, Mt. Carmel, Grant, and Riverside Methodist Hospitals in Columbus, Ohio. In the past he served as President of the Ohio Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and is the Allergy Division Chief at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
