  1. How to Approach an Interview Question You Can’t Answer?

  2. OVERVIEW Everyone likes to go to interviews prepared, but even if you practice and cover all the possible topics discussed during an interview, you are bound to face a question that you just can’t seem to answer. Being unable to answer a question asked during your interview can make you break out in a sweat. Your heart may start beating fast, and your head might start spinning. Everyone may have instances when they were losing words during an interview.

  3. Significance of Questions You Cannot Answer First things first, everyone cannot know everything. It is only natural to be unaware of a few things discussed during your interview. There’s no need to panic if you find yourself in a situation where you can’t seem to find an answer to a question. Most of us look at interviews as a test where you need a perfect score to get the job. More often than not, that is not the case. If you start panicking or feel defeated due to that question, it may leave a terrible impression of you on the interviewer.

  4. Why Should One Deal with a Question They Cannot Answer? Imagine talking to someone and asking them a question. If they start panicking and get disheartened entirely, would you consider them as a person who could deal with challenges head-on and figure out the solutions to the problems that have arisen? This is the kind of impression you may leave on the interviewer when you start fretting over a question that you could not answer. Being calm and composed in the face of devastation allows one to make decisions rationally rather than emotional.

  5. How to Answer Interview Questions that Leave One in the Dark? Respond and not React- Panic is generally the first reaction when you face a question that has got you beat. You feel flustered and lost. It is natural to feel this way, and there are ways to fix this. Start by asking for clarity on the question to ensure that you have understood the question correctly. Seek Confirmation - After the interviewer has explained the question again, it is time to gather your thoughts and put on a confident tone. Collect all of your thoughts about the question and seek confirmation of your understanding. What if all you need is some more time to figure it out? - Just let the interviewer know if you need some time to answer the question. In most cases, the interviewer will gladly allow you some time to think it over. You can also buy some time by asking the interviewer to collect your thoughts about this question and answer it at the end of the interview.

  6. Should You worry About Unanswered Question? More often than not, most jobs don’t require you to be an all-knowing candidate. If you approach the dreadful question with honesty and professionalism, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. You only need to worry if the question was a basic one that you should have known. It shows signs of being unprepared and unqualified for the job. If it was just one of the million other things you should know, then it’s not something you should sweat over.
