  2. Bot and botnets made their place amongst the online threats recently. What is a difference between these two terms? A bot is a computer system affected due to malware infection controlled by a cybercriminal. In short, bot is a zombie computer which launches attacks and with other controlled computer systems, collectively known as Botnets.
