  2. ABOUT UTTARAKHAND • Uttarakhand is known for the nature and for its beautiful environment of the Himalayas. Uttarakhand a beautiful Hill Station which is also known as “Dev Bhoomi” due to its religious significance and numerous Hindu Temples and pilgrimage centers was established in 9 November 2000 which is located in the northern part of the India. It was the 27th state of India which earlier known by the name of Uttaranchal lately in 2007 it was known by the name of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is basically divided into two divisions Garhwal and Kumaon, with a total of 13 districts.

  3. PLACES TO VISIT IN UTTARAKHAND • Uttarakhand is one of the best places to visit in India. You can experience heaven and piece of paradise in Northern India. Here are some of best places you can visit in Uttarakhand. • Uttarakhand is known for the nature and for its beautiful environment of the Himalayas. Uttarakhand makes the international boundaries with China in the north and Nepal in the east. On its north-west lies Himachal Pradesh, while in on the south is Uttara Pradesh.

  4. RISHIKESH Rishikesh is one of the oldest pilgrimage centers of Uttarakhand where people from different country usually came to visit. People believe that the present name of Rishikesh is evaluated from Hrishikesh which is one of the name of lord Vishnu. Rishikesh is located in the foothill of the Himalayas and it is also known as the “gateway of the Garhwal Himalayas”. Rishikesh is also the “yoga capital of the world”. Rishikesh and Haridwar the “twin nation heritage cities”.

  5. MUSSOORIE Mussoorie is the beautiful hill station near Dehradun city in district of Dehradun of Uttarakhand. It is 290km far from the national capital of New Delhi and km from Dehradun. Mussoorie is also known as the “Queen of the hill”, it is one of the most popular hill station in India. Summer is the best season visit Mussoorie. It is place where you can lost in nature although the place itself is soothing. Mostly the new couple camp here for the honeymoon

  6. NAINITAL Nainital is located in the Kumaon region of the Uttarakhand. There so many beautiful places to visit in Nainital, Nainital a beautiful and popular boating site is one of them. The high court of the state is also situated in Nainital. It is the beautiful hill station which located in the foothill of the Kumaon ranges in Uttarakhand and is also one of the most visited place in India.
