  • Mission of the Psychological Services in Education Program is to prepare professionals who will enable and enhance academic, social, emotional, and vocational capabilities of children, adolescents, and adults in school, community, and work settings.

  • MS/EdS—72 credit hours within 5 semesters

  • PhD—4 years of coursework beyond Master’s degree and 1 year of predoctoral internship

  • Assisting in the Center for the Study of Technology in Counseling and Career Development (the Tech Center)

  • Working in Service Centers to offer assistance to Tallahassee community and public schools.

  • The Combined Doctoral Program in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology prepares individuals for leadership positions in academic and applied settings.

  • The doctoral program prepares graduates to become Licensed Psychologists in Florida and other states.

  • Psycho-educational Evaluations: To determine the presence of a learning disability and provide appropriate recommendations.

  • Anxiety Reduction Workshop: Group and individual training for individuals with test anxiety.

  • ADHD Evaluations: To determine the presence of inattention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that may be adversely affecting academic, occupational, or social functioning.

  • ADHD Coaching: One-on One coaching for individuals with ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms.

  • Study Skills Workshop: An 8-week workshop that focuses on topics such as test preparation, motivation, and time management. Open to all college students.
