When it comes to providing a better vaccine and remedy to patients, research is extremely important. A data-sharing framework is a need in the healthcare industry. A data-sharing framework shares the data of the patients at the same time, keeps the data ownership under control. Types of Healthcare Data There are three types of Healthcare Data. They are: - Personal Healthcare Record (PHR): This contains health-related information’s about individuals that conform to nationally recognized interoperability standards. These information’s can be drawn from multiple sources while being shared, controlled and managed by the individuals. - Electronic Medical Record (EMR): These are the kind of electronic record which and individual’s health-related information that can be gathered, created, consulted and managed by authorized staffs and clinicians within a healthcare organization. - Electronic Health Record (EHR): These are health-related information on an individual that conforms to nationally recognized interoperability standards. 2. GAVS Rhodium Framework for Healthcare Data Sharing combines the best features of multi-model databasealong with the viability of data sharing that is facilitated by Blockchain, which helps to come up with a unified framework for healthcare data sharing. GAVS’ Rhodium Framework for Healthcare The model comprises of four stages of healthcare data sharing. These are: - Within a hospital - Across hospitals - Between patients and hospitals - Between patients, hospitals and other agencies Benefits of the GAVS Rhodium Framework for Healthcare Data Sharing For Patients: - Enables unique identity - Better and quicker access - Prevents unauthorized monetization - Lowers the cost of healthcare - Improved patient engagement For Hospitals: - Reduces the cost of diagnosis - Provides a path to the cloud - Enables better care for patients - Scope for advanced researches - Quicker enrolment Healthcare Industry Trends concerning Data Sharing - Interoperability - New privacy regulations - Legal and ethical use of AI - Duality of data security and data integration - Increase in national privacy data standards The above article has been sourced from GAVS Technologies, Digital Transformation Services and Solutions, and Cyber Security and Compliance Services which are essentials for the healthcare industry. 2
