Warner brother’s history • The company was founded by four brothers: Harry Warner, Albert Warner, Samuel Warner and Jack Warner , who were the sons of Benjamin Eichelbaum, an immigrant Polish cobbler and peddler. The brothers began their careers showing moving pictures in Ohio and Pennsylvaniaon a traveling basis. • Beginning in 1903, they started acquiring movie theatres, and they then moved into film distribution. • In 1904, the Warners founded the Pittsburgh-based Duquesne Amusement & Supply Company, to distribute films. • In 1912, Harry Warner hired an auditor named Paul Ashley Chase. By the time of World War I they had begun producing films. • About 1913 they began producing their own films. • in 1917 they shifted their production headquarters to Hollywood, California. They established Warner Brothers Pictures, Inc. • In 1918 they opened the first Warner Brothers Studio on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. • 1923. The eldest of the brothers, Harry, was the president of the company and ran its headquarters in New York City, while Albert was its treasurer and head of sales and distribution. Sam and Jack managed the studio in Hollywood.

  3. Warner brother’s produces… • The company is known for its film studio division, the Warner Bros. Pictures Group, which includes Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, the Warner Animation Group, Castle Rock Entertainment, and DC Films. Among its other assets include the television production company Warner Bros. • Although the studio had successes in the 1960s with such films as My Fair Lady (1964) and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966), its offscreen efforts were also of particular note. In 1967 Elliot and Ken Hyman acquired Warner Brothers and renamed it Warner Bros.

And The Hollywood Reporter notes that the average cost of a feature film is even lower, spanning between $70 and $90 million. • As of 2019, the total estimated net worth of this entertainment giant is $5 billion. Since the start of all entertainment industry, Warner Bros. is the only company to cross $1 billion in earnings every year for the past 17 years. • In 2019 Warner Brother’s made $1.6 billion at the box office
