  1. Importance of Notary in the Legal System • The legal system has several representatives and, the notary public or notary officer being one of them. The Notary Public is a common law officer who has been constituted by the law for serving the people. Some of the common documents that the public notary officers attest are power of attorney, sales deed, estate verification and others. The main functions and roles of the notary officers include administrating oaths as well as taking affidavits along with witness authentication.

  2. Thus, if there is a problem in the court case or any deal that is being finalized, you would need to get the personal statements and the relevant documents attested and validated by the notary officer. Notary public are different from civil law notaries as their roles are totally different from each other. The civil notaries work for private organizations and entities whereas the public notaries are appointed for serving the public.

  3. Both of the notaries receive the same education and law training. Where civil law notaries are specialized in private law, public notaries are totally distinct in their expertise. For instance if you are living in Oxford and want to get your documents, deeds, ministry submissions, letters or evidences and statements verified or attested, you can get all of these attested by Notary in Oxford.

  4. Subject to regulations, there are certain rules that do affect the solicitors and which affect the officers from the notary. In order to ensure the protection of the client as well as the public, maintaining cover and being insured to the full extent is a necessity for the public notaries. With regards to rules in relation to conduct and discipline, client assets are well protected. It has also been recommended that the practicing certificates be renewed annually. This renewal is possible only if the notary does not break the stated rules.

  5. The main concern as well as the role of the notary is documentation- the authentication, analysis and verification of signatures which would be further used in the international courts or governmental proceedings. • One of the best notary offices in Oxford is that of the Oxford notary Public, providing full fledged authentication and notary services in Oxford.
